Opened in 2004 by Chef Jonathan Waxman, the easy going atmosphere and technical approach to cooking have made Barbuto a staple of the New York restaurant scene.Responsibilities include: Ideally looking for a candidate with experience cooking pasta! Food preparation:Washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning ingredients Cooking:Baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking Plating:Creating finished products that are tasty, attractive, and properly cooked Cleaning:Keeping food preparation equipment clean, including grills, broilers, ovens, steamer tables, mixers, microwave ovens, and toasters Safety:Following facility safety programs and conducting work tasks safely Customer service:Responding to customer orders and providing courteous service to guests, coworkers, and residents
